Goat Camp

FALL 2025

General Info

Dates: October 16 & 17

Time: 9:00am to 4:00pm

Ages: 6-12 yrs

Campers will spend the day at our 46-acre goat and chicken sanctuary in Brown County, Indiana. Kids will have the opportunity to interact with our 115 goats and 88 chickens by participating and learning ‘morning chores’, socializing with them in playing and petting sessions (which the goats love), and having the chance to meet some of the people who help make the sanctuary run day to day.

Additionally, our property will be theirs to explore (with supervision). With all of the abundant wildlife and diverse flora and fauna that southern Indiana has to offer, kids will have many opportunities to connect with and learn from nature through hikes, crafts and other activities.

Pricing

The October camp is $135.00 per camper.

Health & Safety

We are first and foremost an animal sanctuary and take the health and safety of our residents and visitors very seriously. If you would like to read more about this, please download our Health & Safety Policies.

FAQs

  • Drop off will be at 9:00 am

    Pickup will be at 4:00pm

  • We will be providing a plant-based lunch and an afternoon snack for our campers.

The menu will be provided prior to camp. We ask that they do not bring their lunches.

However, we understand some children are accustomed to eating more frequently and believe in their comfort and health. If you are providing an additional snack for your child to bring to camp, we require it to be plant-based ( like fruit or veggies).

Personal diets and ethics are not the focus of Goat Camp. However, we ask campers to participate in the values and mission of our animal sanctuary and practice reducetarianism with us. If you have any concerns or additional questions, please contact us at info@thegoatconspiracy.org.

  • Camp will be held outdoors and on an operating animal sanctuary. It is highly encouraged that your camper be equipped with the following:

    -Large water bottle

    -Insect repellent

    -Sunscreen

-Closed-toed shoes are required inside barns to spend time with animals

(Optional to bring a pair of “farm shoes” and then sandals or Crocs to change into while doing other activities)

    -A hat

    -Binoculars

    - A change of clothes and socks

    - An extra plant based snack

As our mission states, we are an animal sanctuary and believe in practicing reducetarianism. This camp is not focused on these ideals, but we ask our campers to participate in our mission and values for this week.

  • We ask that you do not allow your camper to bring the following:

    -Multitools or pocket knives

    -Toys or games

-Any food containing animal products. As our mission states, we are an animal sanctuary and believe in practicing reducetarianism. This camp is not focused on these ideals, but we ask our campers to participate in our mission and values for this week.

  • We, unfortunately, cannot provide a refund or return on missed camp sessions. Please email info@thegoatconspiracy.org to get in touch with our executive director if further discussion is required.

  • The Goat Conspiracy is a functioning animal sanctuary, our animals live their lives as unimpeded as possible. As a result of this, campers may witness certain behaviors in our resident goats and chickens (such as reproductive behavior and play fighting). Please consider this when sending your camper to the sanctuary. We will answer any questions in an age-appropriate and educational manner.
